Rectors and projectors of higher education institutions upgraded their qualifications at the UCP

During the week the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held training for 19 heads of higher education institutions. The advanced training program is implemented within the framework of organizational and methodological guidelines for the training of management bodies and forces of the State System of Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Civil Protection. The purpose of the training is to improve managerial skills and knowledge in the field of ensuring safety.

During the course, the trainees deepened their knowledge about the procedure of actions in various emergency situations, methods of organizing evacuation and ensuring fire safety at the facilities of higher education institutions.

In addition, an exposition of the Educational Center of safety of EMERCOM was presented as part of the program. It includes more than 35 interactive training sites dedicated to various aspects of safety, such as transportation safety, protection from emergency situations, civil defense and environmental safety. The main goal is to train the population in methods of protection and correct actions in emergency situations.
